Guest and Volunteer perspectives
Robes check in and chat service has been steadily evolving throughout lock down. We have been speaking to guests and volunteers about their experience of the service and how we can develop and improve it. This month we wanted to share two perspectives with you which illustrate how valuable befriending services can be. One former Robes guest from 2015 has been speaking weekly with Robes volunteer, Caroline. Below both reflect on their experience:

Best wishes to Crispin Green
Crispin joined Robes in 2011 and came with a wealth of experience which Robes needed. His quiet, unassuming manner and empathy for the Homeless sector has been a great asset to our charity. Crispin is widely respected by our guests: he has helped enormously with wise advice and been responsible for changing many homeless people’s lives.
Crispin decided to retire at the end of June to focus on his artistic skills and we will greatly miss him. We would like to thank him most warmly for his huge impact over the past 9 years and wish him well for the future.
