Robes has been approached by a local business who are giving their tips to our project. London Calling Sweden is a local bar and part of the Bermondsey Beer Mile, they have graciously offered the use of their venue for fundraising events for our work.

‘Original UK Black Elvis’ will be performing and donations will be taken at the door.

ROBES IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ‘CHANGE PLEASE’, HELPED AN EX-GUEST START A CAREER AS A BARISTA

One of our ex-guests that has been struggling to find a job, started two weeks ago his training and employment program with one of our partners.

‘Change Please’ supports people facing homelessness by training them to be baristas. Our ex-guest struggled to find work and needed his confidence building up.

This ex-guest has an amazing smile, is very caring and hospitable. He has now managed to secure a job as a barista.

We look forward to buying many coffees from the store where he is working.

We wish the best of lucks to him in this new adventure and we will continue to support him on his journey.
