DOPPIO: OPERATIC SINGING DUO
Our operatic singing Duo: Harriet Burns and Sian Dicker
accompanied by Ian Tindale
Harriet Burns has won numerous song competitions including 2nd prise at the 2019 Wigmore Hall Independent Opera International Song Competition, joint winner of the 2018 Oxford Lieder Young Artists Platform with Michael Pandya, the 2017 Paul Hamburger prize for Lieder and the 2017 Franz-Schubert-Institut competition.
Siân Dicker is thrilled to have won the International Voice of the Future competition at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in July 2017, as the Dunraven Welsh Young Singer of the Year competition in March 2017. She was awarded the first prize at the Hurn Court Opera Singing Competition in July 2018 and was recently delighted to be awarded the second prize at the 2019 Patricia Routledge English National Song competition. She was also a finalist in the inaugural By Voice Alone competition in May 2019.

Ian Tindale was awarded the Pianist’s Prize in the Wigmore Hall/Kohn Foundation Song Competition in 2017. Ian has given song recitals at the Oxford Lieder, Leeds Lieder and Ryedale Festivals with artists such as Harriet Burns, Nick Pritchard, and Soraya Mafi, and he has featured twice at the Samling Showcase at the Wigmore Hall. Most recently, Ian has collaborated with BBC New Generation Artist James Newby at the Lewes Festival of Song, and with ECHO Rising Star Josep-Ramon Olivé in recitals across Europe including Het Concertgebouw, Amsterdam.
