Robes SleepOut 2019 has over 150 people signed up to help fundraise by sleeping outside on the night of Friday 29th November at Southwark Cathedral, one of London’s iconic buildings.

If you just want to come for the evening programme you can pay £10 on the door.

THE WEDNESDAY CLUB

Gina is a volunteer at Robes Wednesday Club:
The Wednesday Club is a safe and inclusive environment and very welcoming for Robes guests. It is a place where the guests can socialise with others and get good food. It also offers guests support and advice to navigate housing, employment and benefit systems. If you would like to volunteer at the Wednesday Club or your work for a Corporate and would like to organise a small team please contact Barina by email: Project.officer@robes.org.uk

HOW YOUR FUNDRAISING HELPS A ROBES PROJECT GUEST

Peter has been homeless since he experienced a family breakdown. Robes supported him with a space in the shelter and a smartphone that would allow him to go back to work.

He has already started work and everything is going well for him. The volunteers prepared him some take away food so that he would have enough during the day and when he is working late.

The shelter is enabling him to be able to save enough money to be able to pay the deposit and first-months rent and to move on from the shelter to new accommodation.
